# Change monitoring status

Available in Classic and VPC

Change the status of a monitoring service.

## Request

This section describes the request format. The method and URI are as follows:

| --- | --- |
| PUT | /api/v1/scenarios/{scenarioId}/settings |

### Request path parameters

You can use the following path parameters with your request:

| `scenarioId` | Integer | Required | Scenario ID - See [Get monitoring list](/docs/en/management-wms-scripts) |

### Request body

You can include the following data in the body of your request:

| `serviceYn` | Boolean | Required | Monitoring status - `true` \| `false` - `true`: started - `false`: suspended |

### Response example

On a successful response, it changes to the requested monitoring service status with `200 OK`.
