# removeTarget

Available in VPC

Remove a target applied to a target group. The list of target numbers you specify is removed from the list of existing applied targets, and remains unchanged if you specify a target number that hasn't been applied.

## Request

The following describes the request format for the endpoint. The request format is as follows:

### Request query parameters

You can use the following query parameters with your request:

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `regionCode` | String | Optional | Region code for the target group whose target you want to remove - First Region of the getRegionList search result (default) - See [getRegionList](/docs/en/compute-vserver-server-common-getregionlist) |
| `targetGroupNo` | String | Required | Target group number - See [getTargetGroupList](/docs/en/networking-vloadbalancer-targetgroup-gettargetgrouplist) |
| `targetNoList.N` | List[String] | Required | Target number list - Check for existing bound `targetNo` through [getTargetList](/docs/en/networking-vloadbalancer-targetgroup-gettargetlist) - <E.g.> targetNoList.1=1234&targetNoList.2=2345 |
| `responseFormatType` | String | Optional | Response result format - `xml` (default) \| `json` |
